Star Trek Playmates 1995 Catalogue Part 1: Innerspace & Space Talk

Welcome back Star Trek Playmates fans!

I'm happy to present images from the Playmates 1995 catalogue which features Star Trek items rather heavily.  1995 was a massive year for Trek with multiple shows on TV and the the Next Generation film series well underway.

In the images ahead you'll see a great number of unproduced figures, ships and role play items.  Of particular note this time round is an absolutely stunning Innerspace playset - a modular "collect and built" cross section of the Enterprise-D!  

These images have all kindly been provided by Playmates superfan and devotee Martin Reibe.  Martin has always been a friend to the Trek Playmates community and is happy to share these images with fans worldwide.

Star Trek Bandai Catalogue (1997) Innerspace, Space Talk, 30th Anniversary, Roleplay + Ships

This third batch of images is from Bandai’s 1997 catalogue.  The 30th anniversary range of figures is highlighted, as well as the new Space Talk range.

Of interest is the original prototype version of Beverly Crusher in movie uniform (which uses the DS9 Wave 1 Lt. Jadzia Dax body) as well as an alternate version of Captain Sisko (again, using the original Commander Sisko body from DS9 Wave 1).

Star Trek Bandai Catalogue (1995)

Happy New Year and thank you to everyone who has supported this tiny blog!

Thanks to the generosity of Martin of Star Trek Toyhunter, I’m able to share some high quality scans of the Star Trek Bandai catalogues!  Bandai was the European distributor of Playmates’ Star Trek product until the cancellation of the line.

In this first batch of images, you’ll see the introduction of Data and Geordi in “movie” uniforms, get a good look at Lwaxana Troi’s dress and see some gorgeous Innerspace concept art.

Star Trek Playmates Catalogue 1996
