The Star Trek Toyfare Legacy (Part 2)
In part two of my selection of Toyfare images, you'll get a close up look at the unreleased Ultra Trek Seven Of Nine and an archival interview from Chris Overley - product manager for the Star Trek Playmates line!
Once more - all of these rare images are courtesy of Martin from Star Trek Toyhunter. Thanks for being a friend to the Star Trek Playmates collector community, Martin!
There's never been a better time to visit Martin’s site 'Star Trek Toyhunter' as he prepares to show off some of the unique items in his collection, including Voyager and TNG Wave 1 Prototypes. Its essential viewing for any fan of the Playmates Star Trek line: http://startrek-toyhunter.blogspot.com/

highlighted.
You can also check out solicitations for the first three
waves of Warp Factor figures as well as the introduction of the
hard-to-find Beverly Crusher in movie uniform!
All images are courtesy of Martin from Star Trek

Star Trek Bandai Catalogue (1995)
Happy New Year and thank you to everyone who has
supported this tiny blog!
Thanks to the generosity of Martin of Star Trek
Toyhunter, I’m able to share some high quality scans of the Star Trek Bandai
catalogues! Bandai was the European distributor of Playmates’
Star Trek product until the cancellation of the line.
In this first batch of images, you’ll see the
introduction of Data and Geordi in “movie” uniforms, get a good look at Lwaxana
Troi’s dress and see some gorgeous Innerspace concept art.
Be sure to check out Martin’s site Star Trek
Toyhunter for a look at card variations, rare figures and some great
images of the TNG Wave 1 German exclusives: http://startrek-toyhunter.blogspot.com/
Above: Check out the detail on Lwaxana Troi's dress - the black "stripes" didn't make it to the final produced figure. |

Star Trek Playmates 1994 Catalogue Part 3: Deep Space Nine & Beyond
The third and final batch of images from the Playmates
1994 catalogue covers Deep Space Nine, The Original Series and the then newly
announced Voyager.
Look carefully and you'll see a slightly modified Runabout Orinoco (with translucent bussard collectors) and the sadly unreleased Cardassian Galor Class Warship.
Once again, I'd like to thank Martin Reibe of Star Trek Toyhunter for generously sharing these images with me, so that I can then share them with Playmates fans around the world.
Head to http://startrek-toyhunter.blogspot.com/ to check out Martin's collection (along with some amazing prototypes!)
