Special mention must be made of the inclusion of a Wrath Of Khan style phaser - about the only episode accurate item on offer here.
Unfortunately - I have no idea. But you appear to be correct. I have often seen this figure sans 1701 sticker. Might be worth asking the learned folks at the Trektoy forum.
Is this figure totally accurate to the ep - has it got all that bizarre strapping and the black cuffs?

Some of these had a 1701 sticker .I have only seen two examples of this.I have one.I would love to know how many got out with it.
